On Horse’s wings

On Horse’s Wings
copyright 7/09

Life can be so sweet
if you get off your feet
and soar through the clouds

With legs wrapped behind horse’s wings
together as one
Holding his mane in your hand
feeling the wind in your hair

As you fly so high
Free and light
in God’s sight
Angels accompany you
on your flight

A love that will never die
On horse’s wings you fly

One heart
One breath
One dream
One love

On horse’s wings you fly

Thank you so much Carey for sharing this wonderful poem with us.

For some it  may be the worst of times, but with the love of our horses and this life we have chosen, it is beyond any life we could ever have imagined, so it has to be the best of times as well.

For today, greet yourself, like your horse greets you, with an open, forgiving , loving heart.
